Technical Overview
The Drop-In T-Nut – 30 Series 10 Pack provides 10 steel, nickel-plated, self-aligning drop-in T-nuts for 30 Series T-slot aluminium extrusion. Each T-nut inserts through the slot opening at any point along the profile, so you do not need end access. As the screw engages, the T-nut rotates into the correct locking orientation and seats against the slot faces for a secure connection. Thread options are M4, M5, and M6.
This design is suited to both new builds and post-assembly upgrades where bracket positions change during fit-out. In addition, the nickel-plated steel body improves corrosion resistance for indoor workshop, automation, and light industrial environments.
Applications
The Drop-In T-Nut – 30 Series 10 Pack is used to add fastening points to 30 Series T-slot aluminium extrusion frames when profile ends are closed or already assembled. For example, it supports late-stage mounting of cable clips, sensor brackets, guards, and accessories across the 30 Series hardware range without frame disassembly.
For pre-planned assemblies where you can load from the profile end, use the Slide-In Economy T-Nut – 30 Series, 10 Pack or Sliding Steel T-Nut – 30 Series, 10 Pack. However, when end access is blocked, drop-in nuts give faster installation and easier repositioning.

- Insert the T-nut into the slot opening with the thread facing up, then start the screw by hand before final positioning.
- As you tighten, confirm the nut rotates and seats correctly under the slot lips before applying final torque.
- Use the matching screw thread for the selected variant: M4, M5, or M6.
- For assemblies with open profile ends, slide-in T-nuts can be lower cost. For assembled frames, drop-in nuts are faster to add and reposition.
